Motorcycle Road Trips
1
Day 1 :
  • Arrive in LA and pick up your motorcycle. Head into the mountains to Yosemite National Park. You’ll have a few options of places to stay to cater to your budget. Check in and get settled before venturing out to explore the views of Half Dome and El Capitan. Be sure to make your way to the valley floor meadows in the evening to see the deer come out to graze.
2
Day 2 :
  • Lots of options today but we recommend hiking the Mist Trail, the Mirror Lake hike, seeing lower Yosemite Falls and riding bikes around the valley. Don’t forget to visit the Ansel Adams museum and if you’re feeling really adventurous do the full day hike to the top of Half Dome. You’ll need tickets for this so let us know and we can arrange in getting them if they are available. Have a nice diner at the Awahnee Hotel if you’re staying in Yosemite valley. The hotel is stunning.
3
Day 3 :
  • Wake up early and hit the road. You’ll be taking a long beautiful drive up the coast to Mendocino. Upon arrival at your hotel maybe spend some time relaxing before watching the sunset while sitting by the fire pit overlooking the ocean.
4
Day 4 :
  • Wake up early for a stunning drive down the coast to San Fransisco. There’s lots of places to stop along the way to explore, visit and shop. We found some hidden gems in this area to wine taste. When you arrive in San Fransisco check into the hotel. You can either chill at the hotel or venture out and enjoy the city. Let us know if you want to dine at one of the Michelin rated restaurants and we can see about getting you a reservation.(usually need to book this months in advance)
5
Day 5 :
  • Wake up and explore the city for a few hours. Visit one of the many great museums or exhibits which we can arrange for you. When you’re done head down the coast towards Big Sur. This area is one of the most picturesque areas of central California. The drive won’t disappoint. Tonight, you’ll be glamping at the luxurious Ventana Inn. We do have other options but this is our favorite. Sit by the campfire and visit the coffee and food stand they have on property. Enjoy the massive pines trees and nature of Big Sur.
6
Day 6 :
  • You’ll most likely wake up early here. Head down the coast and stop at the many waterfalls and private beaches. Continue your drive back to LA or Sacramento where you will return your car and fly home.

Q: Do I have to stick to the itinerary?
A: You're free to do what you want and go at your own pace, however your hotel reservations will be strict and hard to shuffle around. These itineraries have you seeing and doing a lot. If you prefer to take your time a little more. Contact us to custom build this trip. These itineraries are for the active and adventurous traveler.
Q: How do I book activities?
A: Some of them you will be able to book with us and others are first come, first serve as they are smaller vendors. After you book Your detailed itinerary will have all that information.
Q: How much driving each day will I do?
A: We estimate 3-5 hours of straight driving as you head to a new destination. Assuming you'll stop along the way and see things it could be longer. We suggest getting an early start each day. After you book, your detailed itinerary will have all that information, including times to start your day etc.
Q: What is the best time of year to do these trips?
A: April - October is best. Many of the destinations are at higher elevations so there might be snow along the mountain passes. July and August can be very hot in some parts of these trips so keep that in mind as well.
Q: What sort of clothing do we need?
A: Because you are going to high and low elevations it would be good to pack for both warm and cold weather. Good hiking shoes for sure and an extra pair in case they get wet. Comfortable clothing and layers is best. Maybe bring one nice outfit if you're going to go somewhere nice in one of the locations. Gloves and rain slicks just in case.
Q: What else might we need to think about bringing?
A: Bring extra water containers to keep in the car, bug spray and sunscreen. Also a good pair of sunglasses.
