Motorcycle Road Trips
1
Day 1 :
  • Arrive in LA and pick up your motorcycle. Start your drive into Yosemite National Park. You’ll have a few options of places to stay to cater to your budget. Check in and get settled before venturing out to explore the views of Half Dome and El Capitan. Be sure to make your way to the meadows in the evening to see the deer come out to graze.
2
Day 2 :
  • Lots of options today but we recommend hiking the Mist Trail, the Mirror Lake hike, lower Yosemite Falls or riding bikes around the valley. Don’t forget to visit the Ansel Adams museum, and if you’re feeling really adventurous do the full day hike to the top of Half Dome. You’ll need tickets for this so let us know and we can arrange in getting them if they are available. Have a nice diner at the Ahwahnee Hotel if you’re staying in Yosemite valley. The hotel is stunning.
3
Day 3 :
  • Setting out early you’ll drive towards Lake Tahoe one of the prettiest drives we’ve ever done. Tons of places to stop and see wildlife and nature. Check into the resort and expect a couple days of luxury at one of our favorite properties. Sit by the fire pit overlooking the lake as the sun sets.
4
Day 4 :
  • Today you’ll have a list of amazing activities to choose from. Swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, golf, yoga, their amazing spa or take a ride around the lake in a 1955 classic wooden boat. Order food by the pool and have dinner at their gourmet restaurant.
5
Day 5 :
  • Wake up and when you’re ready head over to Sonoma/Napa Valley. Be prepared for a few days of luxury as there are a lot of things to do and see in the area. We have quite a few hotels and resorts we work with to fit various budget ranges. We’ve been to most of the wineries and have a small list of our favorites that we would be more than happy to arrange private tastings. Napa has some of the best restaurants in the world and we’d be happy to make a reservation at any of the Michelin rated restaurants. Please remember they are sometimes booked months in advance so the earlier we know the better. The hotel spas are generally all fantastic as well.
6
Day 6 :
  • Wake up early and drive to San Fransisco. When you arrive in San Fransisco check into your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.
7
Day 7 :
  • Venture out and enjoy the city. There are tons of museums and activities to do and we can help you with all of it. Definitely see Chinatown and if you don’t mind the crowds head over to Pier 39. Let us know if you want to dine at one of the Michelin rated restaurants and we can see about getting you a reservation.
8
Day 8 :
  • Wake up and explore the city for a few hours. Visit one of the many great museums or exhibits which we can arrange for you. Head down the coast towards Big Sur. This area is one of the most beautiful areas of central California. The drive won’t disappoint. Tonight, you’ll be glamping at the luxurious Ventana Inn. We do have other options but this is our favorite. Sit by the campfire or visit the coffee and food stand they have on property. Enjoy the massive pines trees and nature of Big Sur.
9
Day 9 :
  • Head south towards San Luis Obispo. Lots of great places to stop along way. Check into your hotel and if you’re feeling up to it, we can arrange a late afternoon sea kayak tour through some of the costal caves(weather and waves permitting). Explore downtown San Luis Obispo where you’ll have the choice to eat at many of their great restaurants. Don’t forget to visit Gum Alley. It’s a must see!
10
Day 10 :
  • Wake up and make the drive back to LA. If you have time stop and see Solvang(Cute little Danish town) or Santa Barbara along the way. When you arrive return the motorcycle.

Q: Do I have to stick to the itinerary?
A: You're free to do what you want and go at your own pace, however your hotel reservations will be strict and hard to shuffle around. These itineraries have you seeing and doing a lot. If you prefer to take your time a little more. Contact us to custom build this trip. These itineraries are for the active and adventurous traveler.
Q: How do I book activities?
A: Some of them you will be able to book with us and others are first come, first serve as they are smaller vendors. After you book Your detailed itinerary will have all that information.
Q: How much driving each day will I do?
A: We estimate 3-5 hours of straight driving as you head to a new destination. Assuming you'll stop along the way and see things it could be longer. We suggest getting an early start each day. After you book, your detailed itinerary will have all that information, including times to start your day etc.
Q: What is the best time of year to do these trips?
A: April - October is best. Many of the destinations are at higher elevations so there might be snow along the mountain passes. July and August can be very hot in some parts of these trips so keep that in mind as well.
Q: What sort of clothing do we need?
A: Because you are going to high and low elevations it would be good to pack for both warm and cold weather. Good hiking shoes for sure and an extra pair in case they get wet. Comfortable clothing and layers is best. Maybe bring one nice outfit if you're going to go somewhere nice in one of the locations. Gloves and rain slicks just in case.
Q: What else might we need to think about bringing?
A: Bring extra water containers to keep in the car, bug spray and sunscreen. Also a good pair of sunglasses.
